A St. Catharines couple was arrested on drug charges by Niagara Regional Police on Friday. Members of the Street Crime Unit attended a residence on Gerrard Street where they arrested a male and seized a quantity of marijuana and prescription medication.

Council wants to know if the town has the legal right to present information at an as yet-to-be scheduled coroner's inquest into the death of a Fort Erie teen. Mayor Doug Martin said the town also wants to know what the cost to the municipality would be should it ask to be a "full participant.
